In the third round of the UEFA Conference League, Dinamo lost to their biggest competitor for first place

DINAMO ZAGREB: Nevistić – Moharrami (Kaneko 73′), Ristovski, Perić, Ljubičić – Mišić, Bulat (Kulenović 73′) – Špikić (Bernauer 56′), Baturina, Vidović – Emreli (Drmić 56′)
VIKTORIA PLZEN: Baier – Kopić, Hranač, Dweh, Jemelka – Jirka (Bucha 86′), Traore, Kalwach, Cadu (Holik 86′) – Chory (Vydra 78′), Šulc (Hejda 90′)

Another disappointment arrived at the Maksimir Stadium. The club that was beaten and swept off the field a few years ago won last night in the middle of Zagreb. The Czech Viktoria Plzeň beat Dinamo Zagreb with a score of 1:0. And for such a result, the guests can thank the hosts, who gave away a penalty kick.

This was a match that was worse than those in the Champions League qualifiers from about ten to fifteen or more years ago. Dinamo had possession, but nothing more. Because, anyway, we are used to them creating opportunities, but there is no realization. Dinamo created several opportunities, but did not score. But it was a fruitless game because you can’t score what is given to you.

Dinamo, in fact, showed helplessness, and they were sent off the field with whistles. Dinamo was not at the same level as years before, and in terms of the quality of the game, it was at the level of the guests. Bernauer seems to have decided to do everything wrong since he came to Zagreb. That’s how the tragic turned out in last night’s game. The penalty kick goes to him, from which the guests took the lead and thus set the final score.

The best thing about the match was the choreography of the Bad Blue Boys, in which they remembered the suddenly deceased member – Mislav Vučetić Kura. Even the cheering was not at a high level. It used to be much better and of better quality.

Dinamo started with a corner kick, but nothing happened. Dinamo had possession, but the visitors were patient. In the 25th minute of the match, Bulat hit the post from a free kick. One minute before the end of the half, Bulat hit the crossbar from about twenty meters.

The Czechs had their chances, but nothing serious happened. That’s what happened in the rest of the game. In the 61st minute, Dinamo had a chance to score through Moharramio and Vidović, but again without realizing it. However, a little less than ten minutes later, the Czechs threatened and created an opportunity that they did not take advantage of. But that’s why Dinamo gave away a penalty kick from which the visitors scored.

Until the end of the game, Dinamo was without ideas, and to the player it looked like a neighborhood team had gathered. There were no throws between the lines, Dinamo was anemic, and the guests knew how to preserve the result. The result is as it is, but this cannot be continued. Especially if you want to move on anyway.

What is happening in Dinamo? Is someone tearing down the club intentionally and knowingly? Or does it need time to adapt to a new organizational management system as Dinamo? The decline in the game is obvious, and everything that happens in the club is the result and consequence of that mess that needs to be cleaned up as soon as possible.
