Last night, three Croatian basketball players appeared in the NBA league
Croatian national team member and captain Dario Šarić participated with 12 points in Golden State Warriors‘ victory over Detroit Pistons. In addition to 12 points, Šarić had six rebounds, one assist, and a steal. He spent nearly 21 minutes on the field. Of course, the GS Warriors were led to victory by Stephen Curry with 34 points, while the Detroit Pistons still don’t have Bojan Bogdanović.
Los Angeles Clippers visited the Big Apple where they played against New York Knicks and suffered a 97:111 defeat. Croatian center Ivica Zubac was his team’s gray. In almost 30 minutes on the floor, he scored only eight points with seven rebounds, three blocks and one steal. Luka Šamanić had a chance in the last four minutes of the Utah Jazz‘s loss at the Chicago Bulls. He used that time to score three points, one rebound and an assist.
Champions Denver Nuggets beat New Orleans Pelicans 134:116 with a great performance. After the games played on Monday, there are no more undefeated teams, as the Boston Celtics lost 109:114 on the road to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Los Angeles Lakers lost in Florida to the Miami Heats with a score of 107:108.
