After FIBA determined the hosts of the qualifying tournaments on Monday morning, the draw for the qualifying tournaments was held at 7 p.m., and the groups were also announced

The Croatian national basketball team has found out their opponents in the qualification for the Olympic Games, which will be held in the capital of France – PARIS! From July 2nd to July 7th of next year, Croatia will play in Piraeus, Greece. Croatia is placed in group A, with Slovenia and New Zealand also in it. Group B will feature Egypt, Greece, and the Dominican Republic. Croatian players will play against Luka Dončić and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The winner of each 2024 Olympic Qualifying Tournament will win a ticket to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Seven teams that have already qualified directly from the World Cup will join there. The teams that have secured the Olympic Games are Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Serbia, South Sudan, the USA, and the host France.

How Croatia will prepare for this tournament remains to be seen. The question is who will be able to play everything, and in what form are the players? The tournament is quite hard, especially for Croatia. Slovenia and Greece are the main ones in this tournament, but New Zealand and the Dominican Republic are very tricky opponents. Croatia is an underdog in this tournament. But who knows, Croatia is always the most dangerous when they are outsiders. May God help us to be the same in this tournament.
