I believe that the team is ready for the challenges ahead. We worked very well. We did everything planned for the preparation to present ourselves in the best light in the first match against Thailand. Thailand, unlike us, has a lot of experience playing in the world championships, considering that they have achieved a place in the last seven world championships. On the other hand, this is our first appearance after 24 years. There is a positive feeling of nervousness among the players. We are ready for everything that awaits us.

Is Thailand worthy of respect for the quality of its national team and its experience playing in the world championships?
Thailand is undoubtedly unknown to people who follow futsal less closely, but it has been a national team led by top foreign coaches for the last twenty years. Today, Rodrigo has had great success as a coach and coach at the club and national team levels. He led, among others, the Japanese national team, with which we had the opportunity to play. So, we know everything about his modus operandi and game plan.

What sort of Croatia can we expect in tomorrow’s game?
After everything we went through to qualify for the World Cup, and then we did the preparations, everything fits into that match with Thailand, which is extremely important for us. It is a direct battle for second place in the group, which leads to the second round of the competition. Of course, we will try to get the best possible result against Brazil, even though we know they are the group’s biggest favorites. We know what’s waiting for us. We have the honor, the privilege, and obligation to be mentally, physically and tactically at our highest possible level, I hope it will be like that.

What goals did you set for the team at the World Championship in Uzbekistan?
We will try to get through the group and wait for the match in round 16, in which everything is possible.
