After the infamous adventure at EURO in Romania, a new qualification cycle for EURO U21 follows
From 19:00 at the KI Klaksvik stadium, the Croatian U21 national team will play against the Faroe Islands. Croatia is the favorite even though the hosts are currently leading the group. After the infamous episode at the European Championship where they won one point without scoring a goal, Skočić must return Croatia to the winning way.
Croatia’s last victory was against England in a friendly match. The last official match was against Denmark in the playoffs for EURO 2023. After three months, a lot has changed in the national team. Maybe the coach will have a different formation and tactics compared to the EURO.
The main players of the national team will continue to be Martin Baturina and Dion Drena Beljo. Baturina will not compete for this match as he suffered a mild concussion and must rest for a week. But there are also Šimić, Hodža, Biuk, Buković and others who can easily do the job against the Faroe Islands.
For Croatia, this is the first match in these qualifications.
