A new European adventure has begun for both Osijek and Rijeka
OSIJEK – ZTE 1:0 (Mierez 90’+1′)

If you know a day by morning, Osijek will have a successful season. Osijek won with a score of 1:0, and the first scorer at the new stadium in European competitions is, again, Miierez. In return, Osijek leaves with a victory, and with the game shown, they will certainly not have a problem. The only thing they need to improve is the realization and precision.
One but valuable but deserved victory goal and the breakdown of Hungarian ZTE. Osiječani were far better but in everything. They created opportunities and had sui h, but there was no realization. The Hungarians had their chances, but they were very few, and if Osijek repeats this kind of game, there should be no problem.

Rijeka has passed the first European away game this season and returns home victorious. And Rijeka won with a score of 1:0, even though, in the end, they had two more players. Rijeka solved 50% of the issues in the second preliminary round, and now they have to do the return match, played in Rujevica.
The home team mostly defended, although they picked up a bit in the second half. It wasn’t much of a game, but Rijeka deservedly won and went home confidently.
