LOKOMOTIVA: Čavlina – Vranjković, Mersinaj, Kalaica, Milićević – Bubanja, Marić (from 75. Fetai) – Kanižaj (from 87. Krivak), Stojković, Kačavenda (from 75. Šotiček) – Tuci (from 46. Bulatović)

The first test in the third round of the Croatian league was between Lokomotive and Varaždin. The game played in Kranjčevićeva was quite specific. Six goals were scored, and both teams shared the points. Varaždin led both 2:0 and 3:1, but they did not last. Lokomotiv came back and drew.

The new season they started well, at least as far as goals are concerned.

SLAVEN BELUPO – RUDEŠ 3:2 (Crnac 44., Međimorec 56., 74./Latković 45., Tomečak 77.)
SLAVEN BELUPO: Marković – Račić, Međimorec, Hlevnjak, Martinaga – Agbekpornu, Mioč – Crnac, Ortiz (from 74. Šakota), Hoxha
RUDEŠ: Marić – Tomečak, Matić, Camara – Mašala (from 80. Rešetar), Pasariček (from 80. Plazonja), Lazarov, Vukmanović – Oddei (from 73. Srbljinović), Latković – Ljubanović (from 80. Kovačević)

Only one less goal was scored in the Slaven Belup and Rude matchš. Rudes can’t make up the points. They play as well as they can, but there is much inexperience. The Rudeš coach himself stated this in the last round of the HNL.

Slaven Belupo led the whole time. He was a little more active, although Rudeš had his chances and opportunities. After a heavy defeat in the first round, Slaven Belupo scored four points.

DINAMO – GORICA 0:0
DINAMO
: Livaković – Moharrami (from 77. Ristovski), Bernauer (from 59. Šutalo), Perić, Ljubičić – Sučić (from 59. Ivanušec), Mišić – Špikić (from 77. Emreli), Baturina, Kaneko (from 59. Mihajličenko ) – Petković.
GORICA: Banić – Raspopović, Krizmanić, Maloča, Štiglec – Soldo (from 62. Munksgaard), Pršir – Majstorović (from 89. Leš), Mitrović (from 77. Ilečić), Ndockyt (from 90. Blummel) – Vujnović (from 77 Jurić).

This was, in fact, one of the more boring matches in this round of the HNL. Dinamo dominated, created opportunities, and had possession, but in vain. This match had no goals, primarily thanks to Banić, Gorica’s first goalkeeper.

Dinamo had its chances to score a goal, but it didn’t work out. Although they mostly defended, Gorica had their opportunities, and in the 71st minute, they could have dealt Dinamo the most brutal blow. Then Mitrović broke out alone in front of Livaković, but the only thing he did was to transfer the goal.
Dinamo has the game. It has everything except realization. This may be a preparation for the meeting with AEK. We will see! But if they continue like this, there will be no European competitions in Maksimir next season. For a club like Dinamo, the realization must be better.

RIJEKA – ISTRIA 1961 6:0 (Ivanović 34., Selahi 44., Pašalić 45.+1., Goda 58., Majstorović 61. ag., Grgić 81.)
RIJEKA: Labrović – Smolčić, Galesić, Dilaver, Goda – Banda (from 66. Hodža), Selahi (from 66. Ilinković) – Pašalić (from 66. Grgić), Janković, Fruk (from 74. Djouahra) – Ivanović (from 74. Obregon)
ISTRIA: Majkić – Hujber, Marešić (from 83. Lawal), Majstorović, Douglas (from 55. Valinčić) – Čalušić, Petrušenko – Nebyla (from 67. Mlinar), Čuić (from 67. Lisica), Erceg – Travaglia (from 55. Maurić)

A pleasant and happy week for Rijeka. In other words, the end of the week brought joy to Rijeka because they scored 12 goals in two games. And against much weaker and worse opponents. They scored six times against Istria, three times per half.

This is a good prelude for the European game that awaits them on Thursday. This coming week will also be suitable for Croatian clubs. Good luck, everyone.

The match between Osijek and Hajduk was postponed due to European commitments.
