After being relegated from the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers, Dinamo continues its journey in the Conference League, where it found out the opponents and the schedule
Dinamo Zagreb found out their opponents in the conference league. They will play in Group C. The opponents of the Croatian champion will be Viktoria Plzen, against whom he played a spring game after 49 years, Astana, whom he already beat this season in the Champions League qualifiers, and the Balkans, who are the lowest-ranked opponents in this competition.

After the draw, the group match schedule arrived. Dinamo na Maksimir opens the Conference League with Astana, so it goes to Kosovo – Ballkani, to have a double match with Viktoria Plzen. The first match against the Czech team is played at Maksimir, then away. Dinamo continues the competition with a visit to Astana, and in the last round, they play against Ballkani.
Let’s hope that Dinamo secures first place before the last round. Why? That’s because with the first place in the group, they will secure a direct placement in the quarterfinals, and in the last round they will play a ravioli match. Unless the Ballkani will not fight for a place in the further competition of the Conference League.
Dinamo will play all Maksimir matches in the elite time, starting at 9 p.m. Dinamo will play at an earlier time on away games. He will play against Astana at the earliest due to the time difference.
“There are certainly interesting opponents. I think we have drawn a good group, it can be passed, but you have to show yourself in every match on the field. We can be satisfied. I hope that we will be healthy, gather strength, and be at the maximum level to pass the group”, Sergeja Jakirović commented.
