Preparations for the women’s water polo national team up to 19 years old have started in Sisak. This Croatian national team has two important competitions this year, that is, in the coming summer.
First, they will be followed by the European Championship, which Zagreb hosts, from August 24 to 31. A week later, the World Championship for under-18s starts in China in September.
Mia Šimunić, the representative of the national team, invited 21 players for the preparations:

This list includes many players from Jadran and Mladost who played in the finals of the Croatian Championship on Wednesday, and logically their preparations began a day later. Admittedly, the final match in the Poljud swimming pool was also attended by other national team members, to see the two best club teams in action.
The expert staff consists of: selectionist Mia Šimunić, Kristian Hrbić, Željko Jozipović, Željko Ajelić Sorić and Ivan Rakarić.
